GE 160095 Replacement Moisture Sensor Probe Assembly

Model 160095 is an original spare sensing probe exclusively matched with GE Panametrics Moisture Monitor Series 35 hygrometers. Based on aluminum oxide thin-film sensing technology, it detects trace water vapor in process gas, converts moisture concentration into corresponding electrical signals for the host monitor to calculate dew point values, being a core consumable component for long-term gas moisture online monitoring.

Description

The 160095 sensing probe takes high-purity aluminum oxide film as the sensitive core layer. The dielectric capacitance value changes synchronously with the adsorption amount of water molecules on the film surface, enabling high-precision capture of trace moisture from ppb to ppm grade inside compressed air, natural gas, inert gas and various industrial process gases. Built-in built-in temperature sensing element realizes real-time ambient temperature feedback, cooperating with the Series 35 host to complete automatic temperature compensation and eliminate measurement errors caused by gas temperature variation during pipeline operation. A sintered stainless steel filter cap is installed at the gas inlet end to block particulate impurities, oil mist and pipeline sediments from directly attaching to the sensitive film, slowing down pollution failure and extending the effective service cycle of the probe.

The probe body adopts fully sealed stainless steel structure with stable corrosion resistance against weak acidic and alkaline gas media. The applicable working temperature ranges from -20°C to 65°C, maintaining stable sensing performance under 95% non-condensing humidity for long-term insertion installation on process pipelines. Standard industrial threaded interface supports direct pipeline mounting without complex sampling accessories, simplifying field disassembly and replacement operations for maintenance personnel. The tail wiring terminal is in standard specification, achieving quick plug connection with Series 35 host equipment without extra wiring modification.

Every 160095 probe is calibrated with national metrology traceable standard moisture generators before factory delivery, with formal calibration documents attached to ensure the consistency of measurement benchmarks. After long-term on-site operation, the sensitive film will gradually be contaminated by gas impurities, resulting in measurement drift, slow response speed and inaccurate dew point readings. Timely replacement with genuine 160095 probes can quickly restore the measuring precision of the moisture monitoring system and cut equipment maintenance downtime.

New probes are used for supporting delivery of newly built moisture measurement systems, while spare 160095 assemblies are applied to regular maintenance and fault replacement of running Series 35 monitoring instruments. Reliable moisture detection signals effectively avoid pipeline internal condensation corrosion and damage to downstream pneumatic control components, optimize the operating load of drying equipment to reduce energy waste, and provide solid sensing guarantee for safe and stable operation of industrial gas delivery systems under long-cycle continuous production conditions.
