GE MMS35-142-1-100 Piezoelectric Vibration Monitoring Sensor
Description
GE MMS35-142-1-100 integrates high-precision piezoelectric sensing chips and built-in signal conditioning circuits. It can sensitively capture abnormal vibration signals generated by rotor unbalance, bearing abrasion, shaft misalignment and equipment loose structure during the operation of large rotating machinery. The internally optimized circuit completes impedance conversion and preliminary signal filtering, directly outputting applicable vibration signals compatible with GE monitoring modules, which greatly simplifies field wiring and debugging work for instrument maintenance personnel. This sensor is widely deployed in thermal power plants, petrochemical plants and gas operation stations to build the front-end acquisition network of the unit safety monitoring system.
The sensor body adopts an integrally welded full stainless steel sealed shell, with outstanding tolerance to oil mist, floating dust, humid air and a small amount of corrosive gas in industrial production workshops. The normal working temperature ranges from -20°C to 70°C, and stable linear measurement performance can be maintained under 95% non-condensing humidity during long-term 24-hour uninterrupted operation. The bottom is reserved with standard threaded installation holes for rigid locking installation, which avoids measurement waveform jitter caused by equipment resonance and guarantees the authenticity and stability of collected vibration data. The matched double-layer shielded cable can shield electromagnetic interference from surrounding frequency converters, high-power motors and power distribution cabinets, preventing signal distortion and data drift in long-distance transmission.
Each finished MMS35-142-1-100 is calibrated with professional vibration excitation equipment before delivery, together with insulation withstand voltage test and long-term power-on aging screening to keep consistent measurement accuracy among individual products. Aging seal failure, internal component parameter drift and cable damage will lead to monitoring signal loss, data jumping or system false alarms, which bring hidden dangers to the safe operation of continuous production units. Using qualified original sensors for replacement realizes plug-and-play installation without modifying system configuration parameters, effectively reducing maintenance downtime and economic losses caused by equipment shutdown.
New sensors are used for the construction of new machinery monitoring systems, while calibrated spare sensors are used for daily maintenance and emergency replacement of aging monitoring equipment. The vibration data collected by this sensor helps maintenance staff discover early mechanical faults in advance, avoid unexpected shutdown accidents caused by sudden component failure, reduce the overall overhaul cost of rotating equipment, and provide continuous and reliable data support for the full life cycle health management of industrial rotating assets under long-cycle continuous production conditions.
