GE XMT868-1-31-TO-0011 Clamp-On Ultrasonic Liquid Flow Transmitter

This fixed wall-mounted transmitter belongs to GE Panametrics XMT868 product line. It works with external ultrasonic clamp sensors to achieve long-term continuous non-intrusive measurement of liquid media in industrial pipelines, outputting standardized data for process control, material balance statistics and factory energy consumption management.

Description

GE XMT868-1-31-TO-0011 applies the mature transit-time ultrasonic measurement principle. Sensors are fastened on the outer wall of pipelines without pipe cutting, drilling or system shutdown during installation. No components contact the measured liquid medium, bringing zero pipeline pressure loss and no medium contamination risk. This characteristic makes it widely applicable to circulating cooling water, process solvent, raw water and other liquid delivery pipelines in thermal power plants, petrochemical enterprises and water treatment facilities, especially suitable for retrofitting measurement points on existing operating pipelines.

The built-in high-speed digital signal processor carries self-adaptive waveform compensation and multi-stage filtering algorithms. It effectively offsets signal attenuation caused by pipeline scaling, inner wall rust and uneven pipe materials, as well as electromagnetic interference generated by on-site frequency converters, large pumps and electrical equipment, maintaining stable measuring accuracy under complex industrial field conditions. The device supports single-channel flow acquisition calculation, equipped with local display panel and operation buttons for on-site parameter configuration and real-time viewing of instantaneous flow rate, flow velocity and cumulative flow data.

Multiple transmission modes including 4–20mA analog signal and Modbus digital communication are reserved, which can seamlessly upload measured data to DCS and SCADA systems for centralized monitoring and historical data storage. The main unit adopts standard DIN rail installation structure for neat layout inside instrument cabinets. The sealed casing meets industrial dust-proof and moisture-proof standards, operating stably within an ambient temperature range of -20°C to 60°C under 95% non-condensing humidity for unattended long-term operation. Every finished product is calibrated on a professional flow standard bench, matched with long-time power aging test and insulation detection before delivery to guarantee long-term operational stability.

Circuit aging and signal drift of old transmitters will directly lead to distorted flow data and interfere with the accuracy of process parameter adjustment. Replacing with qualified XMT868-1-31-TO-0011 realizes plug-and-play deployment without massive modification of system configuration, greatly shortening maintenance downtime and production losses. New transmitters are used for new metering system construction, while calibrated spare units serve daily maintenance of online monitoring equipment. Accurate flow data helps enterprises optimize fluid transportation energy consumption, reduce abnormal pipeline operation risks, and lower the overall operation and maintenance cost of liquid conveying measurement links during long-cycle continuous industrial production.
