GE DLM-1500 Ultrasonic Flow Measurement Transmitter
Description
The GE DLM-1500 fixed flow transmitter applies the transit-time ultrasonic measurement principle, cooperating with external sensors mounted on pipe outer walls to complete non-intrusive flow measurement. There is no need to cut pipelines or stop production during installation, bringing zero pressure loss and no contamination to the internal process fluid. This feature makes the unit suitable for circulating water pipelines, cooling liquid delivery pipes and various chemical medium conveying pipelines that require uninterrupted running in power plants, refineries and water treatment stations. The internal high-speed signal processing module is embedded with intelligent signal compensation algorithms, which can offset signal attenuation caused by pipe scaling, wall roughness and ambient electromagnetic interference, ensuring sustained measuring accuracy in harsh factory environments filled with inverters and large motors.
The transmitter is designed for standard DIN rail installation inside instrument cabinets for centralized layout and management. It supports multiple output modes including 4-20mA analog signal and Modbus digital communication, achieving seamless data upload to factory DCS, SCADA and data acquisition platforms for real-time monitoring and historical data recording. The metal casing has reliable dust-proof and moisture-proof performance, working steadily within an ambient temperature range of -20°C to 60°C under 95% non-condensing humidity. The system supports dual-channel measurement configuration to monitor two independent pipeline flow points simultaneously, improving the integration of on-site metering equipment and saving cabinet installation space.
Every DLM-1500 unit passes standard flow bench calibration, power-on aging test and insulation detection before leaving the factory to guarantee long-term measurement stability. Aged circuit components and signal faults of old transmitters often lead to flow data deviation and monitoring blind spots. Adopting calibrated original replacement modules supports plug-and-play replacement without complicated parameter resetting, greatly shortening equipment maintenance downtime.
New DLM-1500 transmitters are deployed in new industrial construction projects, while tested spare products serve as maintenance replacements for outdated flow monitoring systems. Accurate flow data provided by DLM-1500 helps enterprises optimize process water allocation, reduce fluid transportation energy consumption, and realize refined management of material balance. It effectively lowers the hidden danger of abnormal pipeline operation, cuts long-term system operation and maintenance expenses, and provides stable metering support for the safe and efficient operation of industrial fluid conveying systems in long-cycle production.
