GE M27R Inline Sample Gas Filter Assembly

GE M27R is a compact inline filter accessory matched for GE Panametrics HygroPro and MIS series moisture analyzers. It filters solid particles, liquid mist and pollutants in sampled process gas, protecting high-precision moisture sensing probes from contamination drift and damage during long-term online gas humidity monitoring.

Description

GE M27R is a standard front-end purification component built for industrial gas sampling loops, widely installed upstream of moisture probes such as MISP series sensing heads to physically purify flowing process gas media. The whole unit adopts a miniaturized straight-through metal housing with standard threaded interfaces, supporting quick inline installation inside analyzer cabinets and narrow sampling pipelines without modifying original pipeline layout or stopping on-site production operations. The internal multi-layer gradient filter element efficiently intercepts pipeline dust, condensed liquid droplets, pipeline rust debris and trace corrosive impurities carried in natural gas, compressed air and petrochemical process gas streams, avoiding pollutant adhesion on the aluminum oxide sensitive film of dew point probes. Pollutant accumulation is the primary cause of measurement drift, slow response speed and permanent probe failure for trace moisture monitoring equipment, and M27R effectively isolates these harmful substances to stabilize measuring performance.

The filter shell and wetted components are manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel with good tolerance to weak acidic and alkaline trace ingredients in industrial gas. The internal filter material maintains stable structural strength under continuous gas pressure fluctuation, without deformation or powder shedding to cause secondary pollution to the sampling loop. Its applicable working temperature ranges from -15°C to 70°C, and stable filtering efficiency can be maintained under cabinet humidity up to 95% non-condensing state without dew condensation. The internal flow channel is optimized for low flow resistance, which will not generate excessive pressure loss in the sampling pipeline and ensures the gas flow parameters required by the analyzer stay within the normal working range.

Each finished M27R undergoes air tightness inspection and filtering efficiency verification before factory delivery to guarantee stable impurity interception performance in long-cycle service. Original brand-new filters are applied for complete machine assembly of gas moisture monitoring systems in gas stations, refineries and power plants, while tested spare filter assemblies are conventional maintenance consumables for aging GE analytical instruments. Regular replacement of M27R can extend the calibration cycle and service life of expensive moisture probes, cut frequent professional calibration costs and reduce unplanned instrument downtime risks triggered by abnormal measurement data. As a basic safeguard component of gas quality monitoring links, it lowers the overall operation and maintenance expenditure of industrial dehydration systems and ensures long-term continuous and accurate operation of online trace moisture detection equipment.
