GE MISP-2R-T20 Aluminum Oxide Trace Moisture Probe
Description
GE MISP-2R-T20 is a dedicated insertion-type moisture sensing probe designed for continuous trace humidity monitoring in industrial gas media. The core measuring component takes high-precision aluminum oxide thin-film sensing technology, which can sensitively capture trace water vapor content ranging from ppb to normal ambient humidity, and convert physical dew point values into standard analog signals identifiable by matched host analyzers. The model code 2R stands for 3/4-inch straight thread process interface with O-ring sealing structure, supporting direct threaded installation on sampling pipelines without extra conversion fittings; T20 refers to the built-in process temperature thermistor, which feeds real-time medium temperature data back to the analyzer for automatic temperature drift correction and improves overall measurement accuracy under variable working conditions.
The probe head is fitted with sintered stainless steel shielding cover, which blocks particulate impurities and liquid droplets in process gas from attaching to the oxide sensing film, slowing down sensor contamination and performance attenuation. The probe body adopts corrosion-resistant stainless steel structure, adapting to long-term operation in low-concentration corrosive gas environments. Its applicable working temperature covers -40℃ ~ +60℃, and it maintains stable measurement repeatability under cabinet humidity below 95% non-condensing condition. Calibration data is stored in non-volatile memory inside the probe, with factory calibration traceable to NIST standard reference materials, avoiding frequent on-site recalibration after long-term service.
This probe only requires twisted-pair cables for signal transmission, supporting a maximum transmission distance of 914 meters between the probe and the analysis host, flexible for layout arrangement of field sampling points. Internal circuit is equipped with anti-electromagnetic interference design to restrain signal distortion caused by surrounding inverters and high-power equipment operation. Each finished product passes tightness test, dew point calibration and long-time power-on aging screening before delivery to guarantee consistent measuring performance of individual probes.
Original new probes are used for complete set configuration of gas moisture monitoring systems in gas transmission stations, chemical plants and power plants. Calibrated replacement probes are widely used for daily maintenance and failure replacement of old GE moisture monitoring devices. Plug-and-play installation mode will not modify system configuration parameters, greatly shortening equipment maintenance downtime. By precisely monitoring gas moisture content, it effectively prevents pipeline internal corrosion and damage to downstream process equipment, reduces safety risks of gas dehydration processes, and cuts the long-term operation and maintenance cost of industrial gas quality monitoring systems.
