GE HygroPro-1-2-W -4-0-0-0-S Moisture & Humidity Transmitter

The HygroPro series is a precision industrial moisture transmitter under GE Panametrics, the model HygroPro-1-2-W -4-0-0-0-S is configured for trace moisture measurement inside process gas pipelines. It delivers stable humidity and dew point readings for natural gas, compressed air and industrial process pipelines, featuring corrosion-resistant probe structure and built-in signal conditioning circuit to meet online continuous monitoring demands of gas treatment workshops.

Description

GE HygroPro-1-2-W -4-0-0-0-S is a customized configuration of the HygroPro integrated moisture transmitter, designed for trace moisture detection in industrial gas media. The overall structure consists of a measuring probe, main sensing core and local signal output module. The internal high-precision moisture sensing chip can sensitively capture trace water vapor content within gas flow and convert physical moisture parameters into standard industrial electrical signals for upper DCS system collection and recording. This preset parameter version supports fixed installation mode matched with pipeline flanges, the W code in the model stands for wetted material customization, which strengthens tolerance to weak acidic and alkaline trace impurities inside process gas and prevents probe surface contamination from affecting measurement precision during long-term operation.

The transmitter is equipped with built-in temperature compensation algorithm hardware, automatically offset measurement deviations caused by ambient temperature fluctuation and gas temperature change, maintaining stable dew point detection accuracy in the working temperature range of -20℃ to 60℃. Internal circuits are provided with surge protection and electromagnetic filtering components, which can shield interference from surrounding frequency converters and high-power electrical equipment, ensuring measurement data will not generate drift or distortion in complex industrial electromagnetic environments. The product supports standard analog signal output, realizing seamless docking with GE monitoring systems and mainstream third-party DCS frameworks without extra signal conversion accessories.

All finished transmitters undergo strict factory calibration with standard moisture calibration gas, along with air tightness test and long-term running aging test before delivery to guarantee long-term measurement repeatability. As original supporting equipment for gas dehydration, natural gas transportation and petrochemical gas purification processes, this model can effectively monitor excessive moisture risks in pipelines to avoid pipeline corrosion and downstream equipment damage. Original new products are mostly used for new project construction, while calibrated spare units are widely adopted for the replacement and maintenance of old measurement points, effectively reducing unplanned downtime losses caused by moisture monitoring failure and lowering the overall operation and maintenance cost of the gas processing system throughout its service life.
