GE MTS5-351-10 Industrial Vibration Monitoring Sensor Module

The GE MTS5-351-10 belongs to the MTS series mechanical condition monitoring sensors, specially developed for rotating equipment status monitoring in thermal power, petrochemical and heavy industry units. It collects real-time vibration displacement and velocity data of bearings, shafts and rotating shafts, transmits standard measurement signals to the monitoring frame system, and realizes early warning of equipment fatigue wear, rotor unbalance and bearing failure. This sensor complies with industrial EMC standards and can operate stably in harsh workshop environments for a long time, being a core original spare part for GE online equipment monitoring systems.

Description

The GE MTS5-351-10 vibration sensor adopts integrated sealed packaging structure, combining precision micro-mechanical sensing chip and built-in signal primary conditioning circuit, which can convert tiny mechanical vibration changes into standard analog electrical signals recognizable by the host acquisition system. It is mainly installed on the bearing pedestals of steam turbines, fans, water pumps, compressors and other high-speed rotating equipment to continuously track the vibration state during the whole running cycle of the unit. The internal circuit is equipped with surge suppression and low-pass filtering units, which can filter high-frequency clutter interference caused by power frequency and nearby power equipment operation, effectively improving the authenticity and stability of collected vibration data.

In terms of environmental adaptability, the working temperature range of this product is 0℃ to 70℃, and the storage temperature ranges from -40℃ to 85℃. The fully sealed shell can resist damp, dust and weak corrosive gas in the control room and equipment area, and keep stable measurement accuracy under 95% non-condensing humidity conditions. The standard threaded installation interface is convenient for on-site fixed assembly, and the internal wiring is equipped with anti-reverse connection protection to avoid component burnout caused by construction wiring errors. Every finished product will pass multi-item factory inspections including vibration calibration, insulation test and long-term power-on aging screening to ensure consistent measurement accuracy and long-term operational reliability.

Original brand-new supplies of GE MTS5-351-10 have been gradually discontinued with the iteration of monitoring systems. Calibrated refurbished and disassembled original sensors are widely used in the daily maintenance and fault replacement of old GE monitoring systems. It can be directly matched with the original monitoring rack without modifying system configuration programs, greatly shortening equipment maintenance time and reducing the overall renovation cost of the monitoring system. In continuous production industries such as power generation and refining, this sensor supports real-time equipment health judgment, avoids unplanned shutdown accidents caused by sudden mechanical faults, and effectively prolongs the safe service cycle of large rotating machinery.
