GE MISP-2R-T20 Aluminum Oxide Moisture Probe
GE MISP-2R-T20 belongs to Panametrics MIS Probe 2 series moisture detection probe, adopting alumina sensing principle to measure trace moisture and dew point inside gas pipelines. Equipped with built-in temperature thermistor, it matches GE Moisture.IQ analyzers for long-term stable gas humidity monitoring in industrial process pipelines.
Description
GE MISP-2R-T20 is an original industrial dew point sensor probe developed by GE Panametrics, designed with 3/4 inch straight threaded interface with O-ring sealing structure for pipeline installation. The R code stands for sintered steel shield protection structure, and T20 represents integrated built-in temperature thermistor component, which can collect medium temperature synchronously while detecting moisture value to compensate measurement data deviation caused by temperature fluctuation.
The core detection unit uses high-precision aluminum oxide film sensing layer, which can realize accurate measurement from ambient humidity down to ppb-level trace moisture, with 16-bit high-resolution signal output. Non-volatile storage chip is built inside the probe to solidify factory calibrated parameters, and the calibration data is traceable to NIST standard system to guarantee measurement consistency for long-term operation. The overall shell adopts sturdy anti-corrosion metal structure, with dust-proof and moisture-proof protection, resisting pipeline vibration, tiny particle erosion and general corrosive gas erosion in harsh working conditions.
This probe only needs simple twisted-pair cable for wiring connection, featuring convenient field wiring and low wiring cost. It supports direct compatibility with GE full-series moisture analyzers, realizing real-time data uploading, online status diagnosis and remote parameter reading. The product undergoes strict high-low temperature aging, pressure impact and electromagnetic interference tests before delivery, with intrinsically safe structural design, applicable to explosion-proof environments of oil & gas, thermal power, chemical industry and pharmaceutical gas purification systems.
In actual system maintenance, the standardized plug structure supports quick disassembly and replacement without shutting down the whole gas pipeline system, effectively shortening equipment maintenance downtime. It is widely applied in compressed air detection, natural gas dehydration monitoring, inert gas quality inspection and hydrogen pipeline trace water monitoring scenarios, being a core sensing component to control gas quality and prevent pipeline corrosion and equipment failure. Standard factory warranty is matched for each original probe, with stable operation cycle and low later maintenance workload.
