GE Panametrics MTS5 Moisture Target Series 5 Dew Point Analyzer
Description
Measurement Principle & Electrical Performance
Receives impedance signals from thin-film alumina sensors, calculates real dew point value with built-in temperature compensation algorithm to restrain temperature drift error. Equipped with isolated 4–20mA current output for DCS/PLC access; two SPDT alarm relays support high/low dew point interlock protection with fail-safe fault alarm function. Backlit membrane keyboard and LCD support multi-unit switching display (dew point / frost point / ppmv). Calibration data is stored in non-volatile memory without loss after power failure. Electronic components pass high-low temperature aging test, dew point measuring range covers +60℃ ~ -110℃, basic precision ±2℃ within conventional measurement interval. Power options include AC mains power and 18–32VDC industrial DC power supply.
Structural Design & Environmental Adaptability
Two installation forms: standard panel-mounted integral casing and bare PCB board version for equipment embedded integration. The complete machine shell reaches NEMA4X / IP66 protection grade, internal PCB coated with conformal coating against damp, dust and weak corrosive gas erosion. Operating ambient temperature: -20℃ ~ +60℃, with good vibration resistance adapting to compressor stations, heat treatment workshops and chemical sampling cabinets, complying with industrial EMC anti-interference standards. Optional intrinsically safe configuration meets ATEX certification for hazardous area deployment.
Matched Components & Application Scenarios
Matching sensors: M21R, MS29, NC22, Ni2 full M-series dew point probes
Matching sampling parts: DRC-100X pressure regulator, sampling filter, MG101 calibration device
Typical scenarios: compressed air dryer efficiency monitoring, generator hydrogen dew point detection, heat treatment shielding gas measurement, semiconductor high-purity gas trace moisture monitoring, air separation equipment supporting measurement. Used as replacement spare when original unit has display failure, signal drift and alarm malfunction.
Stability & Maintenance Advantages
No internal mechanical moving parts, low long-term maintenance workload and operating cost. Unified factory calibration ensures stable measurement consistency after field replacement. Compact structure simplifies wiring debugging and shortens system downtime during replacement. Original genuine MTS5 effectively prevents probe overload damage and measuring deviation caused by inferior generic meters. Shockproof sealed packaging meets long-term spare parts warehousing requirements, and overall measurement performance remains stable under dry constant-temperature storage conditions.
