GE Panametrics PWO6J8-4S Clamp-on Ultrasonic Piezoelectric Transducer
PWO6J8-4S is an original external clamp-on ultrasonic sensor matched for XMT868, XMT868I, AT868 series transit-time liquid ultrasonic flow transmitters. It adopts piezoelectric wafer structure to send and receive ultrasonic sound waves through the outer pipe wall, realizing non-intrusive liquid flow testing without pipeline drilling or shutdown. This 4S version is optimized for conventional metal pipelines and general industrial liquid working conditions, used together with P1392 coaxial signal cables to form a complete flow measurement sensing system.

- Electrical & Acoustic PerformanceBuilt-in matched piezoelectric chip with fixed resonant frequency, matching the signal excitation frequency of 868 series flowmeter mainboard. Bidirectional transmission and reception of ultrasonic signals, with stable acoustic coupling efficiency after surface coupling with pipe outer wall. Strict impedance matching design reduces signal attenuation during long-distance cable transmission. The integrated built-in temperature sensing element compensates sound velocity deviation caused by medium temperature changes, improving overall measurement precision. Each transducer undergoes acoustic calibration and signal amplitude testing before delivery, measurement repeatability error is controlled within a tiny range, adapting to long-term continuous online measurement.
