GE Ni2 Alumina Trace Moisture Probe

Ni2 is a nickel-alloy enhanced alumina moisture probe under Panametrics M-series sensors, optimized for corrosive process gas environments. It matches MMS35, MTS6, HygroPro transmitters to implement long-term online dew point and trace moisture testing in harsh industrial sampling loops

Description

  • Measurement Principle & Electrical Performance

Adopts porous alumina dielectric sensing film, whose impedance changes linearly with water vapor partial pressure inside gas medium. Built-in integrated thermistor achieves real-time temperature compensation to offset measuring drift caused by medium temperature variation. Each probe is individually calibrated with NIST-traceable standard moisture gas before delivery, featuring low hysteresis and fast response speed. Internal electronic components pass high-low temperature aging screening to keep stable weak signal output during long-period continuous sampling operation. Signal cables support maximum 600-meter wiring distance for flexible field layout.

  • Structural Design & Environmental Adaptability

The probe wetted part adopts nickel alloy material, superior to ordinary stainless steel in anti-sulfide, acidic gas corrosion resistance. Equipped with sintered metal protective screen to block particulate impurities and liquid mist and protect the sensitive alumina film from contamination. Standard threaded interface is compatible with sampling pipelines, PRE-6-40 pressure reducing valves and CRL-10-H-H filter assemblies. Fully sealed structure adapts to corrosive natural gas pipelines, petrochemical process pipelines and chemical sampling cabinets, resisting pipeline vibration and ambient temperature alternation and complying with industrial EMC standards.

  • Matched Components & Application Scenarios

Compatible with MMS35 analyzers, MTS6 transmitters, HygroPro transmitters; periodic calibration can be completed by MG101 dew point calibrator. Widely applied to natural gas pipeline moisture monitoring, petrochemical process gas dew point detection, industrial corrosive dry gas monitoring and heat treatment furnace gas humidity measurement. It serves as core consumable spare part for replacement when original probes are corroded, contaminated or invalid.

  • Stability & Maintenance Advantages

All Ni2 probes pass air tightness inspection and moisture characteristic calibration before shipment to ensure consistent precision across batches. No internal movable wearing parts lower daily maintenance frequency and operation cost. Standardized disassembly and replacement procedures effectively shorten system downtime and manual maintenance expenses. Original GE probes prevent measuring deviation and host circuit overload damage caused by generic substitute sensors. Shockproof sealed packaging meets long-term spare parts storage requirements, and sensing performance remains stable under dry constant-temperature storage conditions.
