GE MTS6-3-1-1-0 Dew Point Trace Moisture Transmitter
Description
Measurement Principle & Electrical Performance
The unit converts impedance signals fed by alumina sensors into real dew point, frost point and ppm moisture values via internal algorithm, equipped with built-in thermistor temperature compensation to offset measurement errors from medium temperature changes. It provides galvanically isolated 4–20mA analog output together with multiple groups of alarm relays for data transmission to DCS and PLC systems. All calibration data and configuration parameters are stored in non-volatile memory without data loss after power failure. Internal electronic components pass high-low temperature aging screening to support stable unattended long-term operation.
Structural Design & Environmental Adaptability
Designed for standard cabinet panel installation with local LCD display and physical buttons for on-site data viewing and parameter modification. Internal circuit boards are coated with anti-moisture, dust-proof and anti-corrosion conformal coating, adapting to hydrogen rooms of power plants, natural gas stations and chemical sampling cabinets. The device complies with industrial EMC standards to resist electromagnetic interference from compressors, frequency converters and power distribution equipment. Sealed terminal structure effectively prevents water vapor and dust erosion to internal circuits.
Matched Components & Application Scenarios
Compatible with M series alumina probes, PRE-6-40 pressure regulators and CRL-10-H-H sampling filters, and supports regular calibration by MG101 calibrator. Mainly used in generator hydrogen dew point monitoring, compressed air drying system monitoring, natural gas pipeline moisture detection and ultra-high purity gas humidity measurement for semiconductor manufacturing. It is used for equipment replacement to recover the normal operation of gas moisture measurement loops.
Stability & Maintenance Advantages
Each unit passes full function test, signal matching calibration and powered aging test before delivery to ensure consistent batch performance. No moving wearing parts lower daily maintenance frequency and operation cost. Standard replacement procedures reduce equipment downtime and manual maintenance expenses. Genuine GE transmitters avoid measurement drift and probe overload damage caused by generic replacements. Shockproof sealed packaging adapts to long-term spare parts storage, and the overall working performance remains stable in dry constant-temperature storage conditions.
