GE M21R Alumina Trace Moisture Probe
Description
Measurement Principle & Electrical Performance
Adopts patented porous alumina dielectric film structure; the impedance value changes linearly with gas water vapor partial pressure. Built-in integrated thermistor realizes real-time temperature compensation to eliminate measurement drift caused by medium temperature fluctuation. Each probe is individually calibrated with NIST traceable standard moisture gas before factory delivery, featuring quick response speed and low hysteresis error. The sensing core passes high-low temperature aging screening to keep stable weak signal output during long-time continuous sampling operation. The signal cable supports a maximum transmission distance of 600 meters for flexible field layout.
Structural Design & Environmental Adaptability
The probe body is made of 316 stainless steel with sintered metal dust-proof protective cover to block particulate impurities and liquid mist in sample gas and protect the alumina sensitive film from contamination. Standard external thread interface is compatible with sampling pipelines, PRE-6-40 pressure reducing valves and CRL-10-H-H filter assemblies. Fully sealed structure adapts to damp, dusty and slightly corrosive working conditions in power hydrogen systems, natural gas stations and chemical sampling cabinets. The product resists pipeline vibration and ambient temperature alternation and complies with industrial EMC anti-interference requirements.
Matched Equipment & Application Scenarios
Compatible with MMS35 series analyzers, MTS6 transmitters, HygroPro transmitters; periodic calibration can be completed with MG101 dew point calibrator. Widely used for generator hydrogen dew point monitoring, compressed air drying system detection, natural gas pipeline moisture monitoring and ultra-high purity gas humidity testing in semiconductor manufacturing. It is a core consumable spare part for replacement when the original probe is contaminated, aged or invalid.
Stability & Maintenance Advantages
All M21R probes pass air tightness inspection and moisture characteristic calibration before shipment to ensure consistent precision among batches. There are no movable wearing parts inside the probe, effectively reducing daily maintenance workload. Field disassembly and replacement operations are standardized, which can shorten system downtime and maintenance costs. Original GE genuine probes avoid measurement deviation and host circuit overload damage caused by inferior substitute sensors. Shockproof sealed packaging is suitable for long-term warehouse storage, and sensing performance will not obviously decline under dry constant-temperature storage environment.
