GE 703-1161 Ethernet Communication Interface Board
Description
Electrical Performance & Core Communication Function
Integrates dedicated Ethernet transceiver chip and electrical isolation circuit to isolate industrial ground loop interference and surge impact from long-distance network cables. It uploads real-time flow velocity, cumulative flow, instrument operating status and fault alarm data via standard Modbus TCP protocol. Built-in EMC filtering components restrain signal packet loss and communication disconnection caused by on-site inverters and high-power equipment interference. Factory calibration matches the bus logic of the main control board 703-1403-02, and the network address and communication parameters are solidified in non-volatile storage without data loss after power failure. All electronic components pass high-low temperature aging screening to keep long-term stable network communication.
Structural Design & Environmental Adaptability
The whole PCB is coated with anti-moisture, dust-proof and anti-corrosion conformal coating, adapting to humid, dusty and slightly corrosive working environments of petrochemical plants, flare stacks and thermal power workshops. The board outline size, fixing holes and gold finger pins fully comply with the original standard, supporting direct card slot plug-in installation inside the transmitter without modifying internal wiring. Reinforced welding structure avoids poor contact caused by long-term equipment vibration and temperature alternation, meeting industrial EMC anti-interference standards.
Matched Equipment & Application Scenarios
Applicable to XMT868/XMT868i liquid ultrasonic flowmeters, GF868 flare gas flow meters and DF868 multi-functional ultrasonic flow transmitters. Widely used in petrochemical fluid metering, refinery flare gas emission monitoring, power plant circulating water measurement and coal chemical pipeline flow data remote transmission. It solves faults such as network offline, data interruption and unrecognizable upper computer nodes caused by communication board aging and component damage.
Stability & Maintenance Advantages
Each 703-1161 board passes Ethernet communication test, isolation performance detection and continuous power-on aging inspection before delivery to ensure consistent batch performance. After replacement, the original instrument configuration is retained, plug-and-play installation greatly shortens field maintenance and equipment downtime loss. Original GE boards prevent network breakdown and mainboard chip damage caused by inferior generic communication boards. Shockproof sealed packaging meets long-term spare parts warehouse storage requirements, and communication performance will not degrade obviously under dry constant-temperature storage conditions.
