GE MS29 Alumina Trace Moisture Sensor Probe

GE MS29 belongs to Panametrics M series thin-film alumina moisture probe, collecting real-time gas humidity impedance signals for supporting MMS35, MTS6, HygroPro analyzers to achieve long-term online dew point monitoring of industrial process gas.

Description

  • Measurement Principle & Electrical Performance

Built-in precision alumina dielectric sensing film, the impedance value changes linearly with water vapor concentration in gas medium. Integrated built-in thermistor realizes real-time temperature compensation to offset measurement deviation caused by medium temperature fluctuation. Each finished probe is calibrated by standard traceable moisture gas before delivery, featuring quick response speed and low measurement hysteresis. Sensing chips go through high-low temperature aging screening to keep signal output stable under long-term uninterrupted sampling operation. Weak analog signals transmitted to the main unit for calculation of dew point, frost point and ppm moisture data.

  • Structural Design & Environmental Adaptability

The probe body is made of 316 stainless steel with sintered metal protection cover to filter dust, liquid mist and solid particles in sample gas and prevent sensing film contamination. Standard threaded installation interface matches sampling pipelines, PRE-6-40 pressure reducing valves and CRL-10-H-H filter assemblies. Fully sealed structural design adapts to damp, dusty and slightly corrosive working scenes in power hydrogen systems, natural gas stations and chemical sampling cabinets. The product can resist pipeline vibration and ambient temperature alternation and satisfy industrial EMC anti-interference demands.

  • Matched Equipment & Application Scenarios

Compatible with MMS35 series dew point analyzers, MTS6 transmitters, HygroPro transmitters, supporting periodic calibration with MG101 calibrator. Mainly used for power generator hydrogen dew point monitoring, compressed air drying quality detection, natural gas pipeline moisture monitoring and ultra-pure gas humidity testing for electronics industry. It is a core consumable spare part for replacement when original probes are contaminated, aged or invalid.

  • Stability & Maintenance Advantages

All MS29 probes pass air tightness inspection and moisture characteristic calibration before factory shipment to ensure unified precision among batches. Without movable wearing parts inside, the routine maintenance workload is effectively reduced. Field replacement operation is simple and standardized to shorten system downtime cost. Original genuine probes can prevent measuring drift and host circuit overload damage brought by inferior substitute sensors. Shockproof sealed packaging is applicable to long-term warehouse storage, and sensing performance will not obviously degrade under dry constant-temperature storage conditions.
