GE 25HP High Temperature Ultrasonic Thickness Probe
Description
Working Principle & Electrical Performance
The probe adopts special high-temperature piezoelectric chip and internal heat insulation structure. It normally transmits and receives ultrasonic signals on hot metal surfaces up to the rated temperature range, calculating wall thickness via echo time difference. Built-in impedance matching circuit optimizes waveform stability under high-temperature thermal noise interference, effectively suppressing signal attenuation and waveform distortion caused by heat radiation and material thermal state changes. Each probe is subjected to acoustic calibration and high-temperature aging screening before delivery to maintain stable detection accuracy under long-time intermittent high-temperature measurement operations.
Structural Design & Environmental Adaptability
The probe contact surface uses heat-resistant wear-resistant protective layer, with multi-layer heat insulation structure to isolate high temperature from the internal core component. The outer shell is made of high-temperature resistant engineering materials with good thermal radiation resistance, adapting to thermal power pipelines, hot furnace walls, high-temperature reaction pipeline field detection environments. The cable root is equipped with heat-resistant sheath and sealed waterproof structure to prevent hot gas, dust and water vapor from invading the internal components. It conforms to industrial EMC requirements and can resist electromagnetic interference from on-site high-power heating equipment and inverters.
Matching Equipment & Application Scenarios
Compatible with GE 2100 thickness gauge, Epoch IIB, Epoch 4 ultrasonic testing equipment. Widely used for real-time corrosion thickness detection of boiler tubes, steam pipelines, high-temperature heat exchange equipment and hot oil pipelines in thermal power, petrochemical and metallurgical industries. It avoids production halt losses caused by equipment cooling for detection and improves field detection efficiency. It serves as a replaceable consumable spare part when the original high-temperature probe is worn or thermally damaged.
Stability & Maintenance Advantages
Every 25HP probe passes tightness test and high-temperature performance verification before shipment to ensure consistent batch performance. The universal probe interface supports plug-and-play replacement with simple commissioning steps. Field inspectors can finish measurement work rapidly with high-temperature special coupling agents to cut maintenance time cost. Genuine GE original probes prevent measurement errors and probe burnout risks induced by counterfeit high-temperature probes. Shockproof sealed packaging satisfies long-term spare parts storage demands, and acoustic performance will not obviously decline under dry storage conditions.
