GE 1200M High Frequency Ultrasonic Contact Probe
Description
Working Principle & Electrical Performance
The single crystal piezoelectric wafer transmits high-frequency ultrasonic pulses into thin materials, and captures reflected echoes to achieve micron-level thickness resolution. Higher 12MHz frequency shortens ultrasonic wavelength, effectively identifying tiny pores, micro-cracks and coating interface echoes that low-frequency probes cannot distinguish. Built-in precise impedance matching circuit reduces high-frequency signal attenuation and noise clutter caused by smooth workpiece surfaces and thin layered structures. Each probe undergoes acoustic amplitude and waveform calibration before factory delivery, maintaining stable echo response during long-term repeated detection. Internal electronic components pass high-low temperature aging screening to restrain signal drift under continuous field operation.
Structural Design & Environmental Adaptability
The probe head adopts wear-resistant hard protective layer to resist abrasion during frequent scanning on precision parts and thin pipe walls. The probe shell uses compact sealed structure with dustproof and splash-proof performance, adapting to precision processing workshops, laboratory testing stations and on-site fine detection scenes. Cable connectors adopt waterproof locking structure to prevent moisture intrusion damaging internal wafers. The product complies with industrial EMC standards and resists electromagnetic interference from surrounding precision equipment and frequency conversion devices. The mini probe head is suitable for narrow gaps, small-diameter thin tubes and curved surface precision detection work.
Matching Equipment & Application Scenarios
Compatible with GE Epoch IIB, Epoch 4 ultrasonic flaw detectors and 2100 portable thickness meters. Mainly applied to thin metal sheet wall thickness measurement, pipeline inner wall micro-corrosion detection, precision casting tiny flaw scanning, metal coating thickness measurement and aerospace small part quality inspection in machinery manufacturing, aerospace, precision pipeline industries. It is a consumable replacement part when original high-frequency probes have signal attenuation and surface wear damage.
Stability & Maintenance Advantages
All 1200M probes pass air tightness test and acoustic performance detection before shipment to guarantee uniform batch consistency. Standard universal probe interface supports plug-and-play replacement without complex parameter debugging. Maintenance personnel can complete installation and testing matching quickly with low-viscosity coupling agents to reduce enterprise maintenance labor costs. Original GE probes effectively avoid measurement errors and missed detection risks brought by inferior generic probes. Shockproof sealed packaging meets long-term spare parts storage requirements, and high-frequency acoustic performance will not degrade obviously under dry constant-temperature storage environments.
