GE MIS2-241-1-140 Trace Moisture Measurement Probe
Description
Measurement Principle & Electrical Performance
This sensor applies aluminum oxide thin film sensing technology to convert water molecule concentration changes in gas into variable electrical impedance signals. The built-in integrated temperature sensing element provides real-time temperature compensation data to correct measurement deviation caused by medium temperature fluctuation. The internal signal conditioning circuit filters electromagnetic interference generated by on-site frequency converters, compressors and power distribution equipment, improving signal stability and measurement linearity in the full measurement range. Each probe is calibrated with standard moisture gas sources before factory delivery, featuring low zero drift and stable response speed during long-time uninterrupted operation. Calibration data is stored in the built-in storage chip, and parameter data will not be lost after power failure. The acquired dew point and moisture data is transmitted to GE matched analyzers for data display, recording and over-limit alarm interlock control. Core electronic components pass high and low temperature aging screening to maintain consistent detection accuracy under rated working conditions.
Structural Design & Environmental Adaptability
The medium contact section adopts corrosion-resistant stainless steel structure, resisting erosion from trace acidic and alkaline components in industrial process gas. The internal circuit board is coated with high-performance conformal coating to prevent damage from damp, dust and condensed water in chemical plants, power stations and natural gas stations. The product complies with industrial EMC standards and can withstand pipeline airflow impact, mechanical vibration and working pressure fluctuation. Equipped with standard external thread interface for direct installation on process pipelines without extra auxiliary fixing parts. The overall fully sealed structure effectively avoids gas leakage and prevents impurities in the medium from contaminating the sensitive sensing layer, extending the service cycle of the probe in harsh industrial environments.
Matched Devices & Application Scenarios
It is a dedicated supporting sensing component for GE moisture.IQ analysis system and MIS series host equipment. Mainly used for hydrogen dew point monitoring of thermal power generators, natural gas pipeline transportation moisture detection, compressed air drying system quality monitoring, petrochemical process gas purification monitoring and metallurgical process gas component analysis. When the original probe has measurement data drifting, response lag or corrosion damage, this model supports direct replacement installation, effectively shortening the maintenance downtime of analysis instruments and ensuring the safe and stable operation of the production process monitoring system.
Reliability & Maintenance Characteristics
Every finished product passes air tightness inspection, precision calibration and continuous power stability test before leaving the factory to ensure uniform performance indicators of different batches. The installation and disassembly process is simple, field technicians can complete replacement operations in accordance with standard operation specifications to reduce enterprise daily maintenance labor costs. Using original GE probes can avoid measurement errors and host circuit abnormal load risks brought by inferior generic replacement parts. Standard shockproof sealed packaging is suitable for long-term spare parts storage in industrial warehouses, and the sensing performance will not have obvious attenuation under dry constant-temperature storage environment.
