GE Moisture Monitor Series 35 Single Channel Dew Point Analyzer

GE Moisture Monitor Series 35 (MMS35) is a microprocessor-based industrial dew point monitor developed by GE Panametrics. Matched with M-series alumina probes, it realizes long-term stable trace moisture detection for various process gases and outputs standard analog signals for industrial DCS/PLC system access.

Description

MMS35 is a classic single-channel hygrometer oriented to industrial online gas moisture monitoring, relying on thin-film aluminum oxide sensing principle. Water molecules are adsorbed on the porous alumina layer to produce linear capacitance variation, and the built-in microprocessor converts capacitance signals into readable dew point, frost point and ppmv moisture concentration data. The overall measurable dew point range covers -110℃ ~ +60℃, with high adaptability to ultra-dry gas measurement scenarios.

In terms of measurement precision, the accuracy reaches ±2℃ within 60℃ ~ -65℃ dew point interval, and ±3℃ for the ultra-low dew point section of -66℃ ~ -110℃; the repeatability is controlled within ±0.5℃ in the conventional measurement range to guarantee long-term measurement stability. The applicable working pressure ranges from 5 mHg up to 345 bar, supporting static gas and high-flow process gas working conditions, and the probe can be remotely arranged up to 600 meters away from the host without obvious signal attenuationManualsLib.

The equipment supports multiple installation methods including panel mounting, cabinet rack mounting, desktop mounting and NEMA4X waterproof outdoor shell configuration. The front panel is equipped with backlit LCD display and physical operation keys, supporting local parameter setting, alarm value configuration and equipment self-inspection without supporting software. The internal circuit board adopts three-proof coating design, adapting to the complex environment of instrument cabinets, compressor rooms and chemical workshops, and stably operates at ambient temperature of -20℃ ~ +60℃.

Standard signal configuration contains 4–20mA / 0–20mA / 0–2V analog output, with optional dual limit alarm relays and equipment fault alarm contacts; it reserves auxiliary 4–20mA input port for pressure signal access to realize pressure compensation correction of moisture data. The intrinsically safe version has obtained EEx ia IIC T4 safety certification, and can be deployed in Zone 1 and Zone 2 flammable and explosive hazardous areas with matched safety barriers. Optional data logging modules and fast response algorithms are available for rapid measurement response under gas drying working conditions.

All factory calibrations are traceable to NIST standards with complete official calibration documents. No mechanical wearing moving parts are arranged inside the host body, with low failure rate under 24-hour continuous operation. Daily maintenance only needs regular probe filter inspection and annual overall calibration verification. Independent replacement of internal circuit modules effectively reduces maintenance cost and system downtime loss. It is widely used in power station SF6 gas monitoring, air separation high-purity gas detection, natural gas pipeline dehydration monitoring, heat treatment protective gas and pharmaceutical clean gas moisture control.
