GE 703-1253 GX868 Ultrasonic Transmitter Dedicated Power Supply PCB

GE 703-1253 is the original factory switching power board exclusively customized for GE DigitalFlow GX868 gas ultrasonic transmitters (excluded for GC868 model). It converts industrial AC input into multiple groups of stable isolated DC power to supply the main control board, signal acquisition circuit, display module and signal output unit inside the GX868 host, serving as a core maintenance spare part for gas ultrasonic measuring equipment.

Description

703 series is the unified part number rule for Panametrics flowmeter internal power accessories. 1253 stands for the hardware framework of GX868 power supply, with suffix digits such as 04/05 representing iterative upgraded versions of the circuit board. This power board is built into the casing of GX868 series wall-mounted gas ultrasonic transmitters, applicable to general industrial gas pipeline online measurement hosts, and cannot be matched with GC868 clamp-on gas flow transmitters according to factory design specifications.
This power module supports universal industrial wide AC input of 90~264VAC 50/60Hz, adapting to power supply standards in global industrial sites. After rectification, filtering and high-isolation voltage stabilization processing, it outputs multi-channel precise DC voltages required by the whole machine system, providing stable working power for the host CPU mainboard, echo signal processing board, front LCD display assembly and 4–20mA analog isolation circuit. Integrated multi-level protection mechanisms including overvoltage, overcurrent, short-circuit and lightning surge suppression effectively restrain instantaneous voltage spikes and grid fluctuation interference in harsh factory environments, avoiding burnout of high-value core main control components.
The PCB substrate surface is coated with three-proof conformal coating (moisture-proof, mildew-proof, salt-spray resistant), adapting to humid compressor rooms, chemical instrument cabinets and semi-outdoor sealed instrument boxes. It runs stably within the ambient temperature range of -20℃ ~ +60℃. The onboard built-in safety fuse provides the final circuit protection when serious electrical faults occur. The wiring terminal definition and physical installation size are completely consistent with the original GX868 chassis structure, realizing plug-and-play direct replacement without modifying on-site wiring during equipment maintenance.
Matched with the complete GX868 gas ultrasonic measurement system, it cooperates with insertion gas probes such as ILP-1 and USL-42 to complete gas flow velocity, volume flow and cumulative flow calculation. When GX868 equipment has faults such as no power startup, screen flickering, abnormal signal data and automatic shutdown, independent replacement of this power board can fix most power failure faults, effectively reducing maintenance costs and production downtime loss compared with replacing the whole transmitter host.
Each 703-1253 power board passes full-load aging test, multi-channel output voltage precision calibration and insulation withstand voltage inspection before factory delivery to guarantee parameter consistency among batches. No mechanical wearable components exist on the circuit board under normal operating conditions. Routine maintenance only needs regular dust cleaning on the board surface and regular inspection of terminal fastening status. It is a necessary reserved spare part for enterprises deploying GX868 industrial gas ultrasonic flow monitoring systems.
