GE XMT868-1-31-TO-0011 Non-Explosion Digital Ultrasonic Liquid Flow Transmitter

GE XMT868-1-31-TO-0011 is a wall-mounted general-purpose ultrasonic flow host under GE DigitalFlow XMT868 series. It matches full series clamp-on liquid probes to calculate liquid flow parameters, with temperature monitoring function and factory customized program code 0011 for conventional industrial non-hazardous working conditions.

Description

The XMT868 series is the core mainstream fixed liquid ultrasonic transmitter platform of GE Panametrics. Each segment of the model code corresponds to product configuration definition: the first digit defines power supply specification; the second group 31 stands for enclosure protection grade + expanded I/O configuration; TO represents built-in temperature acquisition & heat metering option; 0011 is solidified factory customized program parameter code for on-site fixed application logic. This transmitter works with M27R, P1347, M2LRZ, 36DL and other clamp-on ultrasonic transducers, receiving ultrasonic time difference signals and relying on internal digital correlation transit-time algorithm to compute flow velocity, instantaneous volumetric flow and total cumulative flow in real time.
The built-in temperature measurement module matched with TO option supports access to external RTD temperature signals, realizing heat consumption calculation for chilled water, hot water and heating pipe networks, meeting energy statistics and energy balance management demands for HVAC and thermal systems. The internal high-performance signal processing circuit has intelligent noise filtering capability, which can offset measurement disturbances caused by pipeline scaling, fluid tiny bubbles and pipeline vibration, with basic measurement accuracy up to ±0.5% of reading after field calibration. Applicable pipe diameter ranges from 12.7 mm to 7.6 m, compatible with carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, PVC and various non-metal pipeline materials.
The equipment adopts standard cast aluminum shell with epoxy anti-corrosion coating, reaching IP66 / NEMA4X protection level, and internal circuit boards are coated with three-proof conformal coating. It can operate stably for a long time in pump rooms, indoor instrument cabinets and factory pipe trenches within the ambient temperature range of -40℃ ~ +60℃. The front panel is equipped with backlight LCD display and membrane operation keys, supporting local configuration of pipeline parameters, liquid medium attributes, probe frequency and alarm thresholds; operators can directly view signal quality, real-time flow data and system fault codes on site without external configuration software.
Standard hardware configuration includes dual-channel isolated 4–20mA analog output, reserved RS485 Modbus-RTU digital communication interface and relay alarm output terminals. Measured flow and heat data can be uploaded seamlessly to DCS, PLC and SCADA centralized control systems to realize remote data recording, trend monitoring and abnormal flow interlock protection. Equipped with the original 703-1476-05 power supply board, it has complete overvoltage, overcurrent, surge and short-circuit protection mechanisms to avoid core circuit damage caused by industrial power grid fluctuations.
It adopts non-intrusive clamp-on installation mode for matched probes, no pipeline cutting, drilling or production shutdown is required during installation and maintenance, bringing zero pressure loss to the process pipeline and no medium contamination risk. The wiring terminals adopt unified standard marking, supporting plug-and-play connection with GE original 710-1247 shielded signal cables, and form a complete closed-loop measurement system together with 95C2001 fixing fixtures and 25998 acoustic couplant.
Each XMT868-1-31-TO-0011 passes flow bench calibration, long-time power aging test and communication function verification before factory delivery, with the exclusive program logic locked by code 0011 to adapt to user-specific on-site measurement requirements. There are no mechanical moving wearable parts inside the host, with low long-term failure probability. Daily maintenance only needs regular cleaning of display dust, inspection of wiring tightness and periodic inspection of probe coupling state; internal power board, display module and signal board can be replaced independently to reduce maintenance cost and equipment downtime loss.
It is widely used in building HVAC water system metering, factory cooling water monitoring, municipal water supply and drainage measurement, central heating heat statistics and conventional chemical low-viscosity process liquid flow monitoring scenarios, serving as a stable general flow measurement host for ordinary industrial non-explosive areas.
