Description
GE NDT is the core non-destructive testing product system of General Electric Inspection Technologies, covering five mainstream detection technical routes: ultrasonic testing, radiographic detection, eddy current inspection, remote visual detection and hardness measurement, matched with supporting analysis software Rhythm® to realize full-process digitized inspection management. This system is widely compatible with the ultrasonic flow measurement probes, transmitters and moisture sensors previously sorted, and expands detection capability from fluid flow metering to material internal defect diagnosis and equipment health assessment.
In the ultrasonic NDT module, mainstream devices include Epoch series flaw detectors, Mentor UT phased array detectors and USM Go portable thickness gauges, matched with customized ultrasonic probes for weld crack detection, pipeline wall corrosion scanning and material thickness measurementGeneral El.... The phased array ultrasonic technology can complete large-area scanning inspection, accurately identify tiny corrosion pits and hidden cracks inside metal pipelines and pressure vessels, greatly improving inspection efficiency compared with traditional single-probe detection mode. The eddy current testing product line is represented by Phasec 3 series flaw detectors, applicable to surface crack detection, coating thickness measurement and material conductivity sorting of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum alloy and copper pieces. It is commonly used for aircraft fastener hole inspection, boiler tube flaw detection and automotive metal component quality screening, with strong anti-interference ability to adapt to on-site variable electromagnetic environments of workshops and power plants.
Radiographic inspection equipment includes portable industrial X-ray machines and industrial CT imaging systems, which realize internal structural imaging of precision castings, turbine blades and pressure-bearing components, intuitively display internal pores, shrinkage cavities and inclusion defects of materials, and meet the strict quality inspection standards of aerospace and new energy equipment manufacturing.
