GE 95C2001 Transducer Mounting Fixture Assembly Kit
GE 95C2001 is original integrated clamping fixture assembly customized for GE M-series clamp-on ultrasonic transducers. It firmly locks probes such as M27R, 36DL, M2LRZ on pipeline outer walls, with high mechanical stability and anti-vibration performance for long-term industrial flow measurement deployment.
Description
GE 95C2001 is an official matching mechanical accessory developed by GE Panametrics for the full range of external clamp-on ultrasonic sensors, replacing and upgrading the conventional P1392 single clamp structure into an integrated assembly kit. The whole set includes stainless steel clamping bands, high-strength fastening bolts, elastic anti-loose gaskets, probe positioning brackets and limit cushion blocks, fully matching the outer dimension of M-series probes and standard industrial pipe diameters.
The main clamping band is made of high-tensile stainless steel with surface passivation anti-corrosion treatment, resisting rust corrosion caused by outdoor rainwater, pipeline condensate and weak chemical vapor in pump rooms and pipe galleries. Equipped with disc spring washers, the structure can continuously maintain stable pre-tightening force under pipeline medium pulsation and mechanical vibration, preventing probe displacement which would lead to poor acoustic coupling, echo attenuation and flow data drift.
The built-in positioning support frame precisely limits the placement position of the ultrasonic probe, ensuring the coupling surface of the sensor is completely and evenly attached to the pipeline surface. Combined with GE 25998 or 399857-PR couplant, it effectively eliminates local air gaps and optimizes ultrasonic wave transmission efficiency. The assembly supports one-person quick installation without special tools, greatly shortening the field instrument commissioning cycle.
This fixture kit is widely compatible with carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron and plastic pipelines, supporting matching use with XMT868, UTX878 fixed flow transmitters and 8500 portable ultrasonic flow meters. The overall structure adopts fully mechanical fastening design with no vulnerable rubber parts prone to aging; even in high-temperature pipeline working conditions, it can keep long-term structural stability without loosening.
Each batch of GE 95C2001 undergoes tensile strength test, fatigue vibration test and salt spray anti-corrosion inspection before factory delivery to guarantee consistent mechanical performance of each set of products. Daily maintenance only needs regular inspection of bolt tightness and bracket surface corrosion status. It is an essential hardware accessory to guarantee stable operation of clamp-on ultrasonic metering systems in municipal water supply, thermal power circulating water, petrochemical process fluid and heating pipe network monitoring projects.
