GE 710-1247 Ultrasonic Transducer Coaxial Signal Cable Assembly

GE 710-1247 is factory-terminated shielded coaxial cable for GE clamp-on ultrasonic transducers. It transmits high-frequency ultrasonic signals stably between flow sensors and flow transmitters with superior anti-interference and weatherproof performance.

Description

GE 710-1247 is an original matched signal cable accessory manufactured by GE Panametrics, dedicated to supporting M9LW, 1200HR and other clamp-on ultrasonic probes, as well as XMT868, UTX878, AT868 series ultrasonic flow transmitters. This coaxial cable assembly is pre-installed with standardized metal aviation connectors at both ends, removing manual wiring operations during field installation to avoid poor contact and wiring errors caused by on-site cable processing.
The inner conductor adopts high-purity solid copper material with accurate characteristic impedance matching the high-frequency working frequency of ultrasonic sensors, minimizing signal attenuation and waveform distortion during long-distance signal transmission. A dense copper braided shielding layer is wrapped outside the insulating layer, which effectively isolates electromagnetic interference signals generated by on-site inverters, large fans, high-power motors and power distribution cables. It solves the common problems of flow value jumping and echo instability in complex industrial electromagnetic environments.
The outer sheath is made of wear-resistant polyurethane material, featuring outstanding waterproof, oil-proof, ultraviolet resistance and low-temperature resistance properties. It can adapt to open-air pipe racks, humid pump houses, chemical splash areas and dusty production workshops for long-term service. The joint of cable and connector adopts integrated sealing filling technology to block moisture, dust and condensate from invading the connector interior to trigger short circuit or signal failure.
The cable structure can withstand repeated bending, extrusion and dragging during equipment maintenance and pipeline overhaul without internal core breakage. Each finished 710-1247 cable passes continuity testing, insulation resistance inspection and signal attenuation calibration before factory delivery to guarantee consistent electrical performance for every batch of products. Cooperated with mounting brackets like P1392 and coupling gel 399857-PR, it forms a complete and reliable clamp-on flow measurement system.
No mechanical wearing parts exist within the cable assembly. Daily maintenance only requires regular visual inspection of sheath abrasion and connector fastening status. Damaged cables can be directly replaced with this original part to quickly restore the normal metering function of the flowmeter system. It is widely applied in municipal water supply metering, thermal power circulating water monitoring, petrochemical process fluid measurement and industrial energy balance monitoring projects.
