GE 703-1610-00 AC Input Power Supply Board for Ultrasonic Flow Transmitters

GE 703-1610-00 is an original GE Panametrics dedicated AC power input PCB board, designed for XMT868, UTX878 and AT868 series ultrasonic flow transmitters. It converts industrial AC mains into stable multi-channel DC power to supply power for host CPU, signal processing circuits and transducer peripheral modules.

Description

GE 703-1610-00 is a core internal power supply spare part of Panametrics industrial ultrasonic flow measurement equipment, specially developed for wall-mounted and panel-mounted flow transmitter mainframes. This board undertakes the whole machine power input, EMI filtering, voltage transformation, overvoltage, overcurrent and short-circuit protection functions, being the basic power guarantee for the normal operation of DRC-100X signal acquisition boards, display panels and transducer signal loops.
The board supports standard industrial AC wide voltage input range, adapting to unstable power supply conditions of factory pump rooms, chemical instrument cabinets and outdoor pipe gallery power distribution systems. Built-in multi-stage EMC filtering components suppress surge interference, harmonic clutter and instantaneous voltage spikes brought by on-site frequency converters, large motors and power grid switching, avoiding instantaneous restart or crash failure of the flow host caused by power fluctuation. Multiple groups of isolated DC output circuits are arranged on the PCB, which independently supply power to the ultrasonic transmitting circuit, echo receiving circuit, communication module and display unit respectively. The isolation design prevents mutual crosstalk between different functional circuits and improves the overall anti-interference capability of the flowmeter system.
Complete safety protection circuits such as fuse overcurrent protection, transient voltage suppression and reverse connection protection are integrated on the power board. When short circuit, overload or abnormal voltage occurs inside the transmitter, the power supply module will quickly cut off the output to protect expensive core boards such as the main control board and DRC signal board from burnout damage, greatly reducing secondary maintenance losses caused by power failure. The PCB adopts industrial high-temperature resistant substrate and full surface coating process, with good moisture-proof, dust-proof and anti-corrosion performance, stably working in the ambient temperature range of -20℃ ~ +60℃ for a long time.
It adopts standard plug-in pin docking mode, matching the internal wiring card slot of XMT868I, UTX878 series flow transmitters. Field maintenance personnel can directly replace the faulty power board without rewiring the whole machine, shortening the equipment downtime of on-line flow metering links. Each finished 703-1610-00 power supply board passes aging burn-in test, output voltage precision calibration and insulation withstand voltage test before leaving the factory to ensure consistent output stability and long service life of each batch of products.
In the long-term operation of ultrasonic flow measurement systems, power supply board aging is one of the common equipment faults, manifested as meter no power-on, automatic shutdown, unstable numerical display and abnormal transducer signal alarm. Using the original 703-1610-00 replacement can rapidly restore the normal metering function of the flowmeter. Daily maintenance only needs regular dust cleaning of the board surface and inspection of the fastening state of the terminal plug. Widely applied to municipal water metering, thermal power circulating water monitoring, petrochemical flare gas and process fluid flow measurement control systems.
