GE P1392 Ultrasonic Transducer Mounting Clamp Assembly
GE P1392 is an original standard fixture component for GE Panametrics clamp-on ultrasonic flow sensors, used to lock MTS series probes tightly on outer pipe walls, with adjustable clamping force and anti-vibration structure, matching XMT868, UTX878 series flowmeters for long-term field installation fixation.
Description
GE P1392 belongs to the official PRE/P series installation accessory system of Baker Hughes GE Panametrics ultrasonic flow measurement products, specially developed for external clamp-on ultrasonic transducers. The part is a complete integrated clamping assembly, including metal hoop brackets, elastic buffer gaskets, anti-loose locking bolts and positioning limit parts, designed to solve the displacement problem of probes caused by pipeline vibration, medium pressure pulsation and external mechanical impact in industrial sites.
The main frame material is high-strength galvanized alloy steel with anti-rust coating treatment, resisting erosion from outdoor rainwater, pipeline condensate, chemical mist and industrial dust in pipe galleries, pump rooms and chemical workshops. The contact cushion between the fixture and the transducer adopts wear-resistant silicone elastic material, which can fit the probe outline completely, avoid hard extrusion damage to the ultrasonic probe shell, and maintain stable coupling clearance between the probe and the pipeline outer wall for a long time.
The clamping structure supports manual quick locking and disassembly without special professional tools. It is compatible with carbon steel, stainless steel, plastic and lined pipes within the matched pipe diameter range, and widely adapts to liquid media such as circulating water, sewage and low-viscosity process fluid measured by clamp-on flowmeters. The built-in anti-loosening tooth structure prevents the bolt from loosening due to long-term pipeline vibration fatigue, effectively avoiding ultrasonic beam deviation and flow data drift caused by probe offset.
It is perfectly matched with MTS6 series ultrasonic probes, supporting the complete set of measurement systems composed of XMT868I, UTX878, AT868 host transmitters. When installing and maintaining flow measurement equipment on site, staff only need to loosen the P1392 fixture to take out the probe for cleaning, calibration and replacement, and the whole operation will not cut off the production pipeline, eliminating production shutdown losses caused by construction.
Each P1392 assembly has passed tensile fatigue test and corrosion resistance inspection before factory delivery, with unified dimensional precision of each batch. There are no consumable wearing parts in the overall structure, and daily maintenance only needs regular surface decontamination inspection, with ultra-low long-term use cost for enterprises. It is a necessary original supporting fixture for municipal water supply, thermal power circulating water, petrochemical fluid delivery and energy metering ultrasonic flow monitoring projects.
