GE MS32 Aluminum Oxide Trace Moisture Sensor Probe
GE MS32 is an original M-series dew point probe from GE Panametrics, adopting alumina sensing technology to monitor trace moisture inside process gas pipelines with high long-term stability and measurement precision.
Description
GE MS32 belongs to the classic M-series moisture probe product line of GE Panametrics, perfectly compatible with MMS35 series moisture analyzers, Moisture Image series hosts and HygroPro transmitters as the core field sensing component for online gas dew point testing. The model MS32 corresponds to standard probe body size, external thread interface, basic sensing wafer structure and standard factory calibration range, being the most widely used universal specification in the M-series standard probes.
The core measuring element uses high-purity thin-film aluminum oxide material. When water molecules are adsorbed on the oxide film surface, the capacitance value changes regularly, and the host converts capacitance signals into intuitive dew point and moisture numerical values. This technology features fast response speed to water vapor changes, low hysteresis error and excellent long-term calibration retention capability, effectively avoiding frequent calibration work on industrial sites. Built-in integrated thermistor realizes automatic temperature compensation, effectively offsetting measurement drift caused by temperature fluctuation inside high-pressure pipelines and outdoor pipe galleries.
The wetted structural components are made of 316L stainless steel with fully sealed welding treatment. The front end is equipped with sintered stainless steel filter screen, which can block pipeline dust, oil mist and condensed liquid from contaminating the fragile alumina chip, greatly extending the service life of the core sensor. The overall probe supports threaded insertion installation for process pipelines, adapting to medium working pressure in natural gas pipelines, petrochemical flare gas, compressed dry air, hydrogen and inert gas delivery systems.
The internal signal transmission circuit adopts impedance matching consistent with GE original analysis equipment, equipped with internal shielding structure to resist electromagnetic interference generated by on-site compressors, frequency converters and high-voltage power distribution equipment, ensuring stable output of measured data in complex industrial electromagnetic environments. Standard sealed aviation plug interface realizes plug-and-play connection, simplifying field replacement and maintenance operations for technicians.
Every MS32 probe completes independent NIST-traceable calibration before factory delivery, with unified measurement accuracy among batches and reliable data traceability, meeting the inspection and filing requirements of environmental protection and safety supervision departments. Daily maintenance workload is extremely low; only regular pipeline purging and periodic calibration verification are required without frequent replacement of wearing parts, effectively reducing the operation cost of gas processing plants, chemical enterprises and gas transmission stations. It has obtained intrinsic safety explosion-proof certification for hazardous areas, and is a standard original spare probe for industrial online trace moisture monitoring systems worldwide.
