GE HygroPro-1-1-W-2-0-0-0-0-0 Moisture & Humidity Transmitter Probe

This GE HygroPro series probe measures trace moisture content in gas pipelines, delivering stable, accurate humidity data for petrochemical and natural gas process monitoring.

Description

GE HygroPro-1-1-W-2-0-0-0-0-0 is a modular insertion-style moisture sensor under GE Panametrics gas analysis product line. Each segment of the model code stands for customized hardware configuration: the HygroPro base represents the intelligent moisture sensing platform; the first two numerical codes define probe length and installation thread specification; the letter W denotes wetted material selection compatible with conventional industrial gases; subsequent digital strings cover signal output type, pressure rating, temperature compensation mode, display option and auxiliary function settings.
The core sensing unit adopts high-performance polymer capacitive moisture sensing chip with built-in temperature automatic compensation algorithm. It effectively offsets measurement drift caused by drastic temperature changes inside process pipelines, realizing precise detection of trace water vapor within natural gas, flare gas, compressed air and inert gas mediums. The sensor component features fast response speed to humidity fluctuations, capable of capturing instantaneous moisture surges brought by pipeline dehydration system faults or medium mixing abnormities.
The wetted part is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, resisting erosion from trace acidic impurities and condensed liquid water in process gas. The overall probe structure supports direct insertion into high-pressure gas pipelines without complicated sampling pretreatment devices, simplifying field installation layout and lowering extra configuration costs of sampling cabinets. The internal circuit adopts full shielding design to suppress electromagnetic interference from nearby compressors, frequency converters and power distribution cabinets, guaranteeing long-term stable measured values in harsh industrial environments.
It supports standard 4–20mA analog signal output and optional digital communication access. Measured humidity and temperature data can be uploaded to DCS and SCADA systems in real time for remote monitoring, early warning of pipeline water dew point and operation state evaluation of molecular sieve dehydration equipment. The probe shell has good dustproof and waterproof performance, adapting to outdoor compressor stations, chemical device pipe galleries and indoor gas treatment workshops.
The product achieves long-term stable operation with minimal consumable loss. Regular zero-point verification is only needed during annual equipment maintenance cycles, without frequent sensor replacement, which greatly reduces system operation and maintenance expenses for gas enterprises. It complies with industrial explosion-proof standards for hazardous gas areas, being a mainstream online moisture monitoring component for natural gas gathering stations, refinery gas processing systems and industrial compressed air quality management.
