GE 710-1207 Industrial NDT Probe Assembly
GE 710-1207 is a dedicated ultrasonic probe matched with Epoch series flaw detectors, used for precision internal defect scanning of metal workpieces with stable acoustic transmission performance.
Description
GE 710-1207 is an original spare probe component manufactured by GE Inspection Technologies, perfectly compatible with GE Epoch IIB, Epoch 650 and other mainstream portable ultrasonic flaw detection hosts. The probe core adopts high-quality piezoelectric ceramic chip, which converts electrical signals into ultrasonic sound waves and receives reflected echoes efficiently, realizing high-sensitivity identification of tiny cracks, shrinkage cavities, inclusions and layering defects inside steel, aluminum alloy, copper alloy and other metallic materials.
The overall structure is equipped with wear-resistant protective wear plate on the detection contact surface. It can adapt to long-term friction contact with rough workpiece surfaces in workshop inspection and field pipeline detection, slowing down component abrasion and extending the overall service cycle of the probe. The integrated cable connection part adopts sealed anti-loose structure, effectively preventing liquid, dust and water vapor from invading the internal chip cavity when using coupling agent on site, avoiding signal attenuation and waveform distortion caused by dampness or dirt accumulation.
This probe matches conventional industrial ultrasonic detection frequencies, supporting DAC and TCG curve calibration of the flaw detector host. The acoustic beam has good directivity and penetration capacity, applicable to thickness measurement and flaw inspection of medium-thickness metal components in pressure vessels, petrochemical pipelines, automobile castings and railway mechanical parts. The outer shell is made of high-strength impact-resistant material, resisting collision damage during handheld carrying and on-site complex operation.
Standard industrial general interface is adopted for the connecting end, plug and play without extra adapter conversion. It maintains stable echo signal output under strong electromagnetic interference environment around welding equipment and large power equipment. The product strictly follows GE original production standards with unified acoustic parameter consistency, which will not cause detection data deviation when replacing old probes. Daily maintenance only needs regular cleaning of the surface wear plate and cable joints, with low maintenance difficulty and operation cost, widely configured as standard spare consumables for enterprise NDT laboratories and third-party detection agencies.
