GE M2L Single Crystal Ultrasonic Straight Beam Transducer Probe

GE M2L is a general-purpose longitudinal wave ultrasonic transducer for industrial NDT. Compatible with GE Epoch series flaw detectors, it performs defect detection and thickness testing on metallic materials.

Description

GE M2L ultrasonic probe is a single crystal straight beam transducer designed for industrial nondestructive testing. It matches GE Epoch portable flaw detectors and other compatible UT instruments to transmit and receive longitudinal ultrasonic waves.

The transducer delivers stable signal output, high penetration capability and reliable repeatability. It can detect internal defects such as voids, inclusions and cracks inside forgings, castings, steel plates and shafts. Besides flaw inspection, it also supports basic material thickness measurement.

Robust probe housing provides wear resistance for long-term field inspection. Optimized acoustic performance ensures clear echo signals even for medium and thick metal workpieces. It works well on carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy and other common engineering metals.

Typical application fields include machinery manufacturing, pressure vessel inspection, power equipment maintenance, petrochemical industry and railway component testing. Inspectors rely on M2L to evaluate workpiece integrity and prevent equipment failure caused by hidden internal flaws.

Simple coupling operation and convenient connection make it suitable for on-site periodic inspection tasks. Multiple matching cables are available to adapt to various testing environments.
