Description
GE MG101 is a portable field moisture calibration system manufactured by GE Panametrics. Operating purely mechanically without power supply, it relies on dry nitrogen carrier gas to generate controllable water vapor mixtures via dual-stage gas dilution technology.
The unit delivers stable dew/frost point outputs covering -75°C to +20°C, meeting calibration demands for ppb-level trace moisture probes including MISP2 and MIS series sensors. Its inherently explosion-proof design enables safe operation within petrochemical, natural gas and potentially flammable working environments.
Equipped with adjustable rotameters, saturator bottle, temperature gauge and filter assembly, operators can steadily set target humidity levels and conduct sensor verification or full recalibration on site. It eliminates the need to ship probes back to laboratories, greatly shortening instrument downtime and lowering maintenance expenses.
This calibration system is widely used in ultra-high purity gas plants, compressed air stations, thermal treatment furnaces and pipeline monitoring projects. It supports regular performance validation for online moisture analyzers and portable hygrometers.
With compact portable construction and standard 1/4-inch Swagelok connections, the MG101 allows convenient transportation and quick gas circuit connection. It generates repeatable reference moisture samples to ensure measurement accuracy of industrial trace humidity monitoring systems.
