GE UTXDR407 Ultrasonic Transducer

GE UTXDR407 is a high-performance ultrasonic transducer matched with GE ultrasonic flaw detectors. It transmits and receives ultrasonic signals for material defect detection and thickness measurement in industrial NDT.

Description

GE UTXDR407 ultrasonic transducer is a professional NDT probe designed for use with GE Epoch series flaw detectors. It converts electrical signals into ultrasonic waves and receives reflected echoes to realize internal defect inspection of workpieces.

The transducer features stable acoustic performance, excellent waveform consistency and good wear resistance. It can detect cracks, pores, inclusions and other hidden flaws inside metals, alloys and certain composite materials. Flexible matching with various wedges supports angle beam, normal beam inspection modes to satisfy weld testing, casting and forging inspection requirements.

Compact structure facilitates operation in narrow spaces. Reliable signal transmission ensures accurate defect positioning and sizing. Widely adopted in aerospace, petrochemical, power, machinery manufacturing, railway and pressure vessel nondestructive testing.

Multiple coupling conditions can be adapted with proper couplant. It supports long-term continuous field inspection, helping inspectors evaluate component integrity and prevent equipment failure caused by internal material defects.
