GE Panametrics MISP2 Aluminum Oxide Moisture Probe

GE MISP2 (MIS Probe 2) is a high-precision moisture sensing probe adopting aluminum oxide sensing technology. It is designed to measure trace moisture content in gases and non-aqueous liquids, compatible with Moisture.IQ analyzer and PM880 portable hygrometer, widely deployed in semiconductor, petrochemical and gas industries for continuous dew point monitoring.

Description

GE MISP2 moisture probe is a mature industrial moisture measurement sensor from GE Panametrics. Built-in microprocessor delivers 16-bit high resolution, capable of detecting ppb-level moisture variations. Calibration parameters are stored in onboard EEPROM, which simplifies probe replacement and field maintenance without recalibrating host equipment.
The sensor supports simultaneous measurement of dew point, temperature and optional pressure. It features fast response speed and excellent long-term stability, adapting to complex industrial working conditions. Multiple mechanical thread interfaces and protective end caps are optional to meet diverse pipeline installation requirements.
This probe is commonly applied in ultra-high purity gas monitoring, dry air systems, natural gas processing, thermal treatment furnaces and pharmaceutical manufacturing. It provides reliable trace humidity data to help users control product quality and avoid equipment corrosion caused by excessive moisture.
The robust stainless steel housing enhances resistance against process pollutants. It supports long-distance signal transmission between probe and analyzer, suitable for distributed process measurement sites.
