GE MMS35-341-1-10 is an intelligent multifunctional motor protection relay. It provides complete monitoring, control and multi-fault protection for low-voltage three-phase motors, widely used as maintenance spare part in power plants, petrochemical and water treatment motor control systems.
Description
GE MMS35-341-1-10 belongs to GE Multilin MMS35 series motor management relay, specially developed for motor control centers and industrial low-voltage asynchronous motor protection.The relay integrates measurement, control logic and comprehensive protection functions. It supports overload protection, locked rotor protection, phase loss, phase unbalance, short-circuit and ground fault protection. Multiple selectable protection curves can be configured according to motor rated parameters to avoid motor burnout caused by abnormal operating conditions.
It continuously collects three-phase current and voltage operating data, and stores fault event records for post-failure accident analysis. Equipped with front LCD display and operation keys, maintenance staff can locally view real-time operating parameters, historical fault logs and adjust protection setting values.
Multiple digital input contacts and programmable relay outputs support interlock control with contactors and on-site equipment. Built-in RS485 Modbus communication interface realizes data transmission to PLC, DCS and SCADA systems to achieve remote monitoring, fault alarm and centralized equipment management.
Adopting standard panel mounting structure, it saves cabinet installation space. Industrial-grade hardware circuit has strong anti-interference ability, adapting to complex workshop environments with vibration and electromagnetic noise. Stable mechanical and electrical structure ensures long-term continuous operation under rated working conditions.
This legacy relay model has been discontinued by the original manufacturer. Existing available inventory is mainly used for equipment overhaul, field replacement and spare backup of aging motor control systems in thermal power plants, municipal water supply, chemical industry, oil & gas and metallurgical projects. Original surplus stock and fully tested refurbished units can be supplied for on-site maintenance.
Before commissioning, users need to set parameters matching motor nameplate specifications to prevent false tripping or protection refusal. Regularly check wiring terminals and cabinet ambient temperature. For new construction projects, upgraded GE Vernova series motor protection relays are recommended as alternative solutions.
