GE M2LR-0G-000-0 Multilin Motor Protection Relay

GE M2LR-0G-000-0 is an intelligent digital motor protection relay. It provides full-range monitoring and multi-fault protection for low-voltage motors, widely used as maintenance spare part in power, chemical and water treatment industries.

Description

GE M2LR-0G-000-0 belongs to GE Multilin M200 series motor protection relay, designed for three-phase low-voltage asynchronous motors in motor control centers and industrial automation systems.
The relay integrates measurement, control and comprehensive protection functions. It supports overload, locked rotor, phase loss, phase unbalance, short circuit and ground fault protection. Protection curves can be customized according to motor rated parameters to prevent motor damage caused by abnormal operating conditions. It continuously collects three-phase current and voltage data and records fault events for post-failure analysis.
The unit is equipped with local display and operation buttons for on-site checking of real-time operating data, fault logs and parameter configuration. Multiple digital inputs and relay outputs support interlock connection with contactors and field equipment. Optional communication modules enable data transmission to DCS, PLC and SCADA platforms for remote centralized monitoring and alarm management.
Standard panel mounting structure saves cabinet installation space. Industrial-grade hardware design offers strong anti-interference performance, adapting to complex workshop environments with vibration and electromagnetic interference. Reliable circuit structure ensures long-term continuous stable operation under rated working conditions.
This legacy relay has been discontinued by the original manufacturer. Existing inventory is mainly used for equipment overhaul, field replacement and spare backup of aging motor control systems in thermal power plants, municipal water supply, petrochemical engineering, metallurgy and oil & gas facilities. Original surplus stock and fully tested refurbished units are available for on-site maintenance.
Before commissioning, users shall configure parameters matching motor specifications to avoid false tripping or protection failure. Regular inspection of wiring terminals and cabinet operating temperature is suggested. For new projects, upgraded GE Vernova motor protection devices are recommended as alternative solutions.
