GE M2LW-T0-000 is an intelligent low voltage motor protection relay. It offers comprehensive motor monitoring and multi-type fault protection, widely used as maintenance spare part in power, chemical and water treatment industries.

Description

GE M2LW-T0-000 is part of GE Multilin M200 series motor protection relay, dedicated to protection, measurement and control of three-phase low voltage asynchronous motors in industrial motor control centers.
The device integrates abundant protection functions, including overload, locked rotor, phase loss, phase unbalance, short-circuit and ground fault protection. Users can flexibly set protection curves according to motor rated parameters to effectively avoid motor damage caused by abnormal operating conditions. It supports real-time collection of three-phase current and voltage data, and records fault events for post-failure analysis.
Equipped with human-machine interface and operation buttons, technicians can view running data, historical faults and adjust parameters locally. Multiple digital inputs and relay outputs support interlocking with contactors and on-site equipment. Optional communication modules realize data uploading to DCS, PLC and SCADA systems for remote centralized monitoring and alarm management.
It adopts standard panel mounting design, occupying small cabinet space. Industrial circuit design provides strong anti-interference ability, adapting to harsh workshop environments with vibration and electromagnetic interference. Reliable hardware structure ensures long-term continuous operation under rated working conditions.
This model is a legacy automation product discontinued by the original manufacturer. Current inventory is mainly used for equipment overhaul, on-site replacement and spare backup of aging motor control systems in thermal power plants, municipal water supply, petrochemical engineering, metallurgy and oil & gas facilities. Original surplus stock and fully tested refurbished units can be supplied for field maintenance.
Before putting into operation, users need to complete parameter configuration based on motor specifications to prevent false tripping or failure to trip. Regularly check wiring terminals and cabinet operating temperature. For new projects, upgraded GE Vernova motor protection devices are recommended as alternatives.
