GE 25DL-RR is a portable ultrasonic thickness tester belonging to classic 25DL series. The RR function supports real-time calculation and direct display of material thickness reduction percentage, specially oriented for pipeline & pressure vessel corrosion inspection work.
Description
GE Panametrics 25DL-RR is a dedicated corrosion survey variant of the 25DL platform. RR stands for Reduction Rate. Operators input the nominal original wall thickness; the instrument automatically computes residual thickness and thinning percentage after corrosion or erosion, which simplifies corrosion assessment and compliance recording.
It supports single-sided ultrasonic measurement for carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy and other metallic components. Compatible with series contact transducers including 580P2-M2JR, UTXDR 4MHz dual-element probes, matched with signal cables such as 259205-PR, 336766 PR and 100100 ultrasonic couplant.
Built-in data logger stores thousands of measurement records with location tags; measurement data can be uploaded to PC for inspection report archiving. Configurable min/max thickness capture, upper/lower thickness alarm, inch/metric unit switching and multiple ultrasonic measurement modes. Powered by rechargeable battery for long-duration field survey.

Customers can purchase standalone 25DL-RR main unit, or complete inspection kits composed of ultrasonic transducer, signal cable, coupling gel and protective carrying case.
