GE Panametrics 25DL-HP belongs to the classic 25DL series, the HP (High Penetration) variant equipped with enhanced signal transmitting and receiving circuit. It is specially developed for cast metal, fiberglass, rubber, composite materials and other high ultrasonic attenuation workpieces where grain scattering or fiber absorption weakens ultrasonic signals.

Measuring range covers 1.25 mm ~ 500 mm (material dependent). Compatible with low-frequency single crystal and dual element transducers, including UTXDR series probes. It supports contact, delay line and immersion transducer configurations. Built-in high-capacity data logger can store over 5000 measurement records with alphanumeric ID tags; data can be exported to PC via serial communication for report archiving.

The instrument features min/max capture mode, upper/lower thickness alarm, metric/inch unit switching, and preset transducer parameter storage for rapid setup switching. Powered by rechargeable battery for field mobile inspection. It requires ultrasonic couplant such as 100100 to achieve stable acoustic coupling between probe and workpiece surface.

Typical application scenarios include foundry casting inspection, FRP pipeline wall thickness monitoring, composite component quality control, rubber lining thickness testing, ship hull structural inspection and chemical equipment periodic assessment.
