GE Panametrics O2X1 Galvanic Fuel Cell Oxygen Transmitter

GE O2X1 is a compact two-wire loop-powered oxygen transmitter adopting galvanic fuel cell principle. It continuously measures trace and percent oxygen concentration in industrial process gases, delivering linearized 4–20mA output for online gas monitoring.

Description

GE Panametrics O2X1 is a classic microprocessor-based oxygen analyzer platform. Equipped with OX series galvanic fuel cell sensors, it supports multiple user-selectable measuring ranges covering ppm level and percentage oxygen measurement. The integrated sensor structure avoids electrolyte leakage and needs minimal routine maintenance.
This transmitter features intrinsically safe certification. With matched safety barriers, it can be installed in hazardous industrial areas. It provides 9–28 VDC loop power supply and standard isolated 4–20mA analog signal output to connect PLC, DCS and data acquisition systems. Three-button local operation supports on-site range configuration, calibration and self-diagnosis without removing the unit.
Available variants include stainless steel wetted version, low-cost Delrin material version and diffusion-type atmospheric monitoring model with 1/8” NPT process connection. It adapts to nitrogen, hydrogen, inert shielding gas, natural gas and other media. OX-1, OX-2, OX-3, OX-5 fuel cell sensors are interchangeable according to different gas characteristics.
The O2X1 belongs to legacy discontinued product line; oxy.IQ serves as its official upgraded replacement model for new projects. Widely applied in air separation units, semiconductor production, heat treatment furnaces, inert gas protection systems and petrochemical facilities to control oxygen impurity and ensure process safety.
Customers can purchase standalone O2X1 transmitters, spare OX series oxygen fuel cells, sampling accessories and calibration kits for equipment maintenance, spare parts stocking and old analytical system renovation.
