GE Panametrics CRR-592 Clamp-On Ultrasonic Flow Transducer (1MHz)

GE CRR-592 is a pair of external clamp-on transit-time ultrasonic transducers. Designed for medium and large pipelines, it cooperates with portable and fixed ultrasonic flow transmitters to achieve non-intrusive liquid flow measurement without pipeline cutting.

Description

GE Panametrics CRR-592 belongs to the C-RR transducer series with 1MHz working frequency. It adopts transit-time ultrasonic principle; ultrasonic signals penetrate the pipe wall to calculate fluid velocity and volumetric flow rate. The sensor does not contact process media, generating zero pressure loss and enabling installation without production shutdown.
It is compatible with PT900, PT878 portable flowmeters, AT600, DF868 fixed ultrasonic flow transmitters. Suitable pipe materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, ductile iron, plastic and GRP fiberglass pipelines. The enclosure reaches IP66 / Type 4X protection grade, operating temperature range: -40℃ ~ +165℃, adapting to harsh outdoor and industrial workshop environments.
Matched with dedicated mounting fixture and shielded signal cables, it supports single-path or dual-traverse installation for improving measuring precision. Ideal for clean water, seawater, circulating water and low-viscosity industrial liquids. Widely used in desalination plants, water supply networks, power plants and petrochemical facilities for long-term flow monitoring and periodic flow verification.
When transducer surface aging or coupling failure occurs, flow readings become unstable. Customers can purchase CRR-592 transducer pairs separately, and configure complete measurement kits including fixtures, signal cables and solid coupling pads.
