GE Panametrics 336766 PR Ultrasonic Transducer Signal Cable Assembly

GE 336766 PR is factory-terminated shielded probe cable, designed to connect Panametrics ultrasonic thickness gauges and contact transducers. It ensures low-loss ultrasonic signal transmission for industrial one-sided thickness testing and corrosion inspection.

Description

GE Panametrics 336766 PR is a matched coaxial cable assembly for NDT ultrasonic thickness measurement equipment. Adopting full shielding structure, it effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference in industrial environments and reduces signal attenuation between the main instrument and thickness probe.
This cable is compatible with the 25DL ultrasonic thickness gauge, and supports straight-beam contact transducers including 580P2-M2JR and other series probes with corresponding interface specifications. Both ends are pre-installed with standard connectors for direct plug-and-play installation without on-site wiring modification.
The cable outer sheath features excellent abrasion resistance, moisture resistance and moderate temperature adaptability. Flexible construction facilitates field inspection, overhead pipeline testing and workshop quality control under frequent bending conditions. When cable insulation cracks or internal wires break, measurement noise and unstable readings will occur, requiring cable replacement.
It is widely used for pipeline residual wall thickness detection, pressure vessel corrosion monitoring, mechanical component thickness verification in power plants, chemical factories, ship maintenance and machinery manufacturing. Ultrasonic couplant such as 100100 is required to cooperate with probes for stable acoustic coupling.
Customers can purchase standalone 336766 PR cables, or configure complete inspection kits composed of thickness gauge host, ultrasonic transducer and coupling agent for on-site periodic inspection and spare parts inventory.
