GE DF868-2-14-100 00-0 is a wall-mounted transit-time ultrasonic flow transmitter. Used together with clamp-on transducers to realize non-intrusive continuous liquid flow measurement for industrial pipeline systems.
Description
GE Panametrics DF868 series transmitter adopts correlation transit-time ultrasonic measurement principle. It matches external clamp-on ultrasonic transducers including M2L, M2LR, CRL series. Ultrasonic signals pass through pipe walls to calculate fluid velocity and volumetric flow rate. Sensors do not contact process medium, no pressure loss and no pipeline cutting required.
This unit supports multiple pipe materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, plastic and ductile iron. Equipped with local display and operation keypad for on-site parameter configuration, flow value observation and built-in self-diagnosis function. It provides 4–20mA analog output, pulse output and optional digital communication interface to upload data to PLC, DCS and SCADA systems.
Applicable media include cooling water, process water, wastewater, glycol solutions and other low to medium viscosity liquids. Widely deployed in power plants, district heating networks, water treatment plants and petrochemical facilities for long-term continuous flow monitoring.
The robust enclosure adapts to indoor and outdoor industrial environments. It is often selected for new flow metering projects and equipment upgrades replacing older ultrasonic flowmeters. Users can purchase the DF868 host separately or complete sets containing transducers, mounting fixtures and signal cables.
