GE Panametrics 6468 is a legacy wall-mounted ultrasonic flow electronic unit designed for industrial liquid flow monitoring. It matches inline wetted ultrasonic transducers, adopting transit-time ultrasonic principle to calculate fluid velocity and volumetric flow inside pipelines. This model belongs to the classic early Panametrics flow measurement product line, widely deployed in water supply, power plant auxiliary water and industrial process circulation systems over many years.
The transmitter integrates signal processing circuit, data computing module and basic display interface. It provides analog output signals to connect with PLC and DCS systems for centralized process monitoring. After long-term market operation, the 6468 series has become an obsolete model; customers usually replace it with upgraded transmitters such as PanaFlow XMT1000, AT868 and DF868 when equipment renewal is required.
