Description

GE Panametrics M2LR-00-210-0 is a member of the M2L series clamp-on ultrasonic sensor family based on transit-time measurement principle. The transducer transmits and receives ultrasonic signals penetrating the pipe wall to calculate fluid velocity and volumetric flow rate. It maintains no direct contact with internal process fluid, resulting in zero pressure drop and eliminating medium leakage hazards.
It is fully compatible with PT900, PT878 portable ultrasonic flowmeters as well as AT868, DF868 fixed ultrasonic flow transmitters. The transducer supports mounting on carbon steel, stainless steel, ductile iron and plastic pipelines within the designated diameter range. Its sealed rugged housing ensures stable performance amid varying ambient temperatures, fitting indoor workshops and outdoor industrial sites.
When matched with dedicated mounting fixture assemblies and shielded signal cables, the transducer maintains reliable acoustic coupling and consistent signal transmission for long-term continuous measurement. It works reliably with clean circulating water, process water, wastewater, glycol solutions and other low-to-medium viscosity industrial liquids.
Typical application industries include power generation, municipal water treatment, district heating networks and petrochemical facilities. The transducer can be deployed for permanent continuous flow monitoring as well as temporary on-site flow verification.
