Description

GE Panametrics 25DL is a classic handheld ultrasonic thickness testing instrument widely used for industrial non-destructive inspection. It adopts ultrasonic echo principle, calculating material thickness by measuring sound wave travel time inside the workpiece. Operators only need to test from one side, which is ideal for pipelines, pressure vessels and closed structural components.
This gauge supports contact transducers, delay line transducers and immersion transducers, compatible with different frequency probes including 15 MHz high-resolution probes. It provides three echo processing modes to adapt thin-wall parts, coated materials and thick components. Users can select multiple resolution grades and switch units between millimeters and inches freely.
Equipped with backlit LCD display, Min/Max capture function and programmable high-low thickness alarm, it can remind inspectors instantly when thickness exceeds preset limits. Built-in data logger stores up to 5000 measurement records with ID tags, supporting data export for report archiving and quality traceability. The lightweight rugged housing is suitable for outdoor field inspection, workshop quality control and periodic equipment corrosion checking.
Measurable materials cover carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, plastic, glass, fiberglass and composite materials.
