GE Panametrics AquaTrans AT868W-2-1-1-2 Ultrasonic Liquid Flow Transmitter
GE AT868W-2-1-1-2 is a fixed wall-mounted transit-time ultrasonic flow transmitter. Compatible with clamp-on transducers, it performs non-intrusive continuous liquid flow measurement without pipeline cutting.
Description
GE Panametrics AquaTrans AT868W-2-1-1-2 belongs to the AT868 series ultrasonic flow measurement platform, adopting patented Correlation Transit-Time technology. Designed for full-pipe liquid monitoring, this unit matches various external clamp-on transducers to detect flow velocity and calculate volumetric flow via pipe wall ultrasonic signal transmission. No contact between sensor and process medium eliminates leakage risk and pressure loss.
This model supports installation with M2L, UC-F-R, C-RS-402 series transducers and works on carbon steel, stainless steel, ductile iron and plastic pipelines within applicable specifications. The enclosure meets NEMA 4X / IP66 protection grade, adapting to humid, dusty indoor and outdoor industrial environments.
The transmitter integrates local display and operation keypad for on-site configuration, real-time flow data observation and self-diagnosis. It provides standard 4–20mA analog output, pulse totalizer, and optional Modbus RS485 communication interface for data uploading to DCS, PLC and SCADA systems. Built-in data logging function records historical flow information for audit and energy balance analysis.
Main applicable media include cooling water, circulating water, tap water, wastewater and low-viscosity industrial liquids. It is widely deployed in water treatment facilities, power plants, district heating networks and manufacturing workshops for permanent flow monitoring.
Customers can procure standalone AT868W-2-1-1-2 transmitters, or complete packages including transducers, mounting fixtures and signal cables for new project construction, system upgrade and replacement of existing flow instruments.
