Description

GE Panametrics M2LW-00-010-0 belongs to the M2L series clamp-on ultrasonic sensor lineup. Designed based on transit-time ultrasonic principle, this transducer transmits and receives ultrasonic signals through pipe walls to calculate liquid flow velocity and volumetric flow rate. No contact with internal process media occurs during operation, resulting in zero pressure drop and no risk of medium leakage.
This transducer is fully compatible with PT900, PT878 portable ultrasonic flowmeters, as well as DF868, AT868 fixed flow transmitters. It can be mounted on carbon steel, stainless steel, ductile iron and plastic pipelines within its designated pipe diameter range. The rugged sealed housing delivers reliable performance under varying ambient temperatures, adapting to indoor workshops and outdoor field industrial environments.
When matched with dedicated mounting fixtures and shielded signal cables such as RG316, 095268-04, stable ultrasonic signal transmission can be maintained for long-term measurement. It works well with clean water, circulating water, wastewater, glycol mixtures and other low-to-medium viscosity industrial liquids.
Common application sectors include power generation, municipal water treatment, district heating, petrochemical and manufacturing plants. It is widely deployed for permanent flow monitoring, temporary field audits and verification of existing flow meters.
