MOOG D138-002-002 MSCⅡ system authorized encryption dongle (bus protocol authorization key)

Product Introduction D138-002-002 is a dedicated hardware encryption authorization key for the MUG MSCⅡ motion control system. It is used in conjunction with the D136 series main control CPU. It is a green plug-in hardware key. After being inserted into the dedicated slot on the main control side, it unlocks the EtherCAT master station + Profibus-DP slave station bus protocol functions. It has no hardware IO channels and is only used for system function authorization. It is a necessary accessory for the main control to achieve bus networking connection with third-party PLCs and servo systems.

Description

Model Explanation

D138: MSC System Function Authorization Key Product Line

002: Second-generation Hardware Key Version

002: Authorization Code, enabling dual-bus authorization for EtherCAT Master + Profibus Slave (001 is the single-protocol authorization version) Technical Specifications

Electrical parameters

Power Supply: Powered by D136 main control slot + 5V bus, no external power supply required

Dimensions: 35mm × 26mm × 12mm, gold-plated metal pins, green flame-retardant casing

Protection Level: IP54, resistant to oil mist and industrial dust

Operating Environment: -25℃ to +70℃, storage -40℃ to +85℃, humidity 5% to 95% RH without condensation

Service Life: Up to 10,000 plug-and-unplug cycles, industrial long-term online without authorization loss

Authorization Resources

Unlock EtherCAT master station: Up to 32 axes EtherCAT slave servo/I/O modules can be connected

Unlock Profibus-DP slave: Supports main control access to the DP bus and data interaction with Siemens PLC

Standard: Full-function programming permission for MACS software, no limit on the number of axes Communication configuration

There is no external wiring interface. The authorization identification is completed through the internal E-BUS bus of the main control, which is plug-and-play. The main control automatically reads the key information upon power-on; if the key information is missing, the bus function will be disabled.

Interface and Wiring

Double-row gold-plated metal pins, directly inserted into the dedicated key card slot on the side of the D136 main control, fixed by a snap-in mechanism, without the need for wiring. Core function

Hardware encryption authorization, enabling D136 main controller to support both EtherCAT and Profibus two fieldbus protocols. Without a key, the main controller only supports native E-BUS local I/O and cannot be connected with third-party bus devices;

Bind the main controller hardware serial number, and the key cannot be used across different models;

Fault self-check, when the contact is poor, the bus indicator light on the main controller panel will alarm;

The MACS software automatically recognizes the authorization, and enables the bus configuration and axis control configuration menus. Applicable scenarios

Aircraft actuator integrated test bench, steam turbine electro-hydraulic speed regulation system, multi-channel hydraulic fatigue testing machine, automated production line hydraulic servo system (the main control requires connection to the upper PLC networking condition).

Operation and maintenance instructions

When the power is off, remove the key and do not perform hot plugging, to avoid pin burnout;

Regularly clean the dust and oil stains on the gold-plated pins to prevent contact failure;

Keep away from hydraulic oil and corrosive water vapor to avoid shell deformation;

If the key is lost, the original factory needs to purchase the corresponding model authorization again. It is impossible to unlock the bus through software.
