Product Description The 4609 (ACM) is a SIL3‑certified, TMR‑based dedicated gateway module for Tricon v9–v11 SIS chassis (8110/8111/8112), designed exclusively to interface Tricon safety controllers with Foxboro I/A Series DCS via the proprietary Nodebus network. It acts as a safety node on the I/A Series, enabling seamless, fault‑tolerant data exchange between Tricon ESD/F&G systems and Foxboro DCS—critical for integrated safety and process control in legacy and modern plants.
